Jesus loves you

Welcome

When you walk into Mosheim Baptist Church, you enter into a fellowship that is unlike any you have experienced before.  We are a church that is simple in the best of ways, and we celebrate Christ in the way we worship, the way we fellowship, the way we minister.

Our worship is traditional.  We sing the familiar hymns and seek to preach in a way that is scriptural and pleasing to God.

There is a sense of freedom, of family and of belonging.  Join us and experience what is the family of Mosheim Baptist Church.

Our Mission

We are a theologically conservative New Testament Baptist church.  We believe that fellowship with God is found only through Jesus Christ, and that fellowship is enabled by the indwelling Holy Spirit.  We believe in the importance of worship and fellowship.  Our church is affiliated with other churches through the Bosque Baptist Association and the Baptist General Convention of Texas.  We believe the purpose of every Christian is to be a reflection of Christ in our world, and we strive to achieve that goal in our corporate and individual lives.

Ministry

Our church ministers through our deacons, our committees and our pastor.

The deacons provide Spirit-filled and wise guidance to the pastor and the church.

The committees work to see that the church functions efficiently in a way consistent with God's leadership.

Our pastor, Glynn Beaty, has been with us since May, 2006, and leads us in worship and praise.

Services

We meet each Sunday for Bible study at 10 a.m.  We offer a children's class, an adult women's class and an adult men's class.

Our worship service begins at 11 a.m.  We have a traditional worship service, singing the familiar hymns, offering prayer requests and preaching from the New and Old Testaments.

Both Bible study and worship are in a relaxed atmosphere that can only be found in a small country church.

Latest News & Events

We are studying a series of hard questions asked about God and the Bible. It's an interesting study that promises to give us a better understanding and a better way to share with others.

Unfortunately, during this time of uncertainty, we ask that everyone stay at home and limit contact with other people, for your safety and theirs.

God understands why we are not gathering to worship as a body.

This Week's Sermon

We continue learning about the reality of the Christian life as we consider next the reason why God is worthy of praise, as we consider Ephesians1:3-10.

It will change your life.
